Turning the corner.
Clark grabbed me Friday and I was ready to head home. By the time we hit the Durham Freeway, we looked like the closing scene in Thelma and Louise, minus the convertible and the cliff.
The day after you get back from the hospital is hell. I woke up at 6am and didn't get out of bed until 2:30. After bowering (laying in the tub with the shower on) for an hour or so, I made it to the couch and a bowl of Crispix, waiting to fall back asleep and put the day behind me.
For me, with the second morning home, I enjoy feeling dramatically better each day. Looking at the computer screen is a stretch, so I'll make this short. In the meantime, I'll enjoy my pancakes this morning.
Hey, I think I'm due a complaint....

By all means you deserve the complaint, hang in there trooper. Thinking and praying for you each day. Ed and Cindy
You deserve mounds of pancakes and complaints! Enjoy your tv shows. We're watching most of those as well. Hang in there! Oh, did you decide on a costume for Halloween?
Lots of love!

Kristin and I are thinking of you and always pulling for you. I know it's easy for me to tell you this since I'm not the one feeling like crap, but hang in there, big man... you're over the halfway mark.
If you think you can put on an extra hundred pounds between now and next week, I'll order you a black wrestling singlet, and you can go as King Kong Bundy. I, of course, will be your midget wrestler sidekick.
Just think that you are more than halfway through and this will all be worth it when it's over.
By the way, your head is pointier than i would have guessed.

ahh yes, "bowering." It's not just for hangovers anymore. You're a step ahead of your average cancer patient. Hang in there...it'll be over before you know it.
Love,
Andy and Whit
Hang in there buddy! Brian and I are thinking of you! Catch up on some Myth Busters and eat all the pancakes you want. And I personally think you are a vision of beauty as a bald man.
Take care and we hope to see you soon,
Sydney
Clyde,
I keep up with you through Mer and Carter but just got on this blog and read the last entries...you are a true inspiration. I sent Mer and email to get the address because I was thinking about you and need something to do while I procrastinate. Stressed about getting a multi-page spreadsheet complete, I logged onto your blog and it humbled me beyond words!! My worries are nothing and should be thrown out the window to make room for the things in life that are worth worry-time. Your attitude (and writing) are amazing and I think I speak for more than myself when I say I can only hope to learn from you!!
Take care and stay strong...you are the eptiome of strength!!
Much love,
Margaret Brooks
Respect, man.
