The tortoise route
Thanks for the encouraging words last week. As I've said, each new morning begins the best day until the treatment starts over. With that in mind, today is my best day.
I'm feeling much stronger and less sick.
On Wednesday next week, I have my third round of chest scans. It's a bit scary to say the least to count down the days until a scan and get the results, but when they come back clean, what an unbelievable relief. Additionally, each clean scan brings with it the reduced chance of reoccurance. After five years, that chance is less than 5%. Basically, what that means, is this whole Blog thing is just getting started.
As always, I appreciate your thoughts and prayers (especially next Wednesday).

Excuses, excuses, excuses... Nobody "forces" shots down Chris' throat. I mean, that guy makes me look tiny.
I'll guess I'll be the scape goat if I have to. On second thought, let's just blame it on The Bachelor.
I continue to check back on a regular basis and glad to see things are going well. Keep your spirits up and know we are thinking about you up here in Richmond.
I've been out of town and touch with eveyone of late, but you've not left my thoughts nor my prayer list for a single week. You're doing amazingly well. Keep the chin up...you're cresting the downhill stretch. All the best vibes shooting your way...
