Same Bat Channel, New Bat Time
In order to have both surgeons present for the second surgery, we had to bump the date to the 21st of August. This is very positive for several reasons.
1. Hand surgeons are important when working on the hand area.
2. Chemo will start early September most likely, leaving room for the annual dove hunt at the farm.
3. This allows more time for my arm to heal from the radiation to better heal from the surgery.

I'm glad this timing is better for you. Thanks for always keeping us updated on everything. You sound like a doc yourself sometimes. Mike would be proud! Know that we are praying for you, and are so proud of both you and Ash, and your optimistic approach!

hmm, so I'm guessing this means the Brices should NOT bring you zip-lock omelettes and MacDonald's triple thick shakes Sunday, the 20th as we were planning to before you moved your surgery date?? (not sure the above would be a doctor recommended menu for you the night before your surgery ...) put us down to drop you and Ashley off dinner Sunday the 27th. thinking of you daily, take care.
