Triton Photos Now on Second Blog
Things are going well at home. The pain from my arm has been manageable and barely noticeable where they took the skin from my thigh. Although we have to change the bandage on my arm three times a day, nurse Ashley does an incredible job. She's AMAZING! We go back to Duke Thursday to see the plastic surgeon for a follow-up regarding the graft. Some time over the weekend we should get the final pathology on the margins removed.
To appease the more curious and daring reader, I've created a second blog which includes recovery pictures. As a warning, these pictures are at a separate location for a reason.
The new blog is www.cph3photos.blogspot.com
It can also be found under the site links to the right as "Triton Photos"
Regular posts and photos, like flowers above, (thanks Friday Lunch Bunch) will continue here, but new "medical" photos will be posted at the other site.

Clyde and Ashley,
So I considered myself "daring" enough to look at the photos on the other blog and I can't seem to get one thought out of my head. Ashley, I think you've got some serious problems if Clyde starts dancing around naked in front of a mirror to the theme from The Crying Game.
In all seriousness though, I'm glad the healing is going well and that you've kept such a positive attitude throughout. Along with many others, I will keep checking in daily to hear all the good news!

Guys,
I was expecting more of a totally gross Michael Jackson "Thriller" look. Not too terrible for all the serious work you had done. I'm so proud of you both!!! The healing has begun and all is looking great. Guess Mom's have seen it all, or at least mostly all and can look at a wound like yours with different eyes. It's not cute.........I'll give you that. Ashley, you definitle get your "Battlefield Nurse" merit badge for this one.
Hugs, Mom
Cool pictures. And NICE cheek!
Keep up the leg lifts and squats. You've been working out and it shows!

I don't know what's more upsetting ...the wound or CP's shaved butt. Some places are just meant to be covered in Harris fur and that is definately one of them.
As a sloppy stand in for Ashley's mad crazy nursing skills yesterday, I can say with great pride that it looked TONS better than those photos. I only had a mild dizzy spell as opposed to full out fainting.
Way to keep things moving in the right direction bro ... I love ya.

Fast forward 40 yrs:
young lad: Grandaddy Clyde how did you get that wild looking scar on your arm?
Grandaddy Clyde: What!? Didn't I tell you about the time I was knife fighting with some pirates and fell in shark infested waters....
Very happy to see the excellent posts.
Keep up the good work.

Glad you're doing well. Sorry I won't be able to see your gash 1st hand on Sept 8th but the photos will have to suffice. Can always count on you for two things: Your ability to make me laugh & your smiling mug.

Those pictures are awesome! Keep 'em coming. Glad that you are feeling better and that you're healing nicely. Does Ashley get in a hot nurse outfit for you? Looking forward to seeing Sparky (a.k.a. Clark) today in SF.
Love, Mary Craig
So glad you are recovering from the surgery, Clyde! I love to see you smiling-I'm amazed by your strength! And Ash, I am sure you are the best little nurse clyde will ever have! Thanks so much for the updates. I continue to pray for you both! lots of love,
trina
We saved our money and bought a lovely candy stiper outfit for Clark.
Clyde,
I am so very pleased to hear you are doig so well. Glad to see you aren't afraid to show a little leg. Never know when you might need to hitch hike. I think the Davis clan has the right Idea on the grandkids, but you should go for rope burns from being dragged by your horse in the indian fight.
Take care of yourself and keep us all posted on your recovery.

Good to see you the other weekend Clyde. Glad to hear all is going well. Sydney and I are definitely keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

When people ask me how I got my scar, I just tell them the truth... that an underage male prostitute bit me on the arm while riding sidecar on my Goldwing.
Male prostitute 1, me zorro.
